       - burner and found are marked ADLAKE  No.300 using kerosene only

       - wick operation is excellent

       - the early cast globe is embosed ADLAKE KERO in the middle of the globe!


       - on the top of the globe is embosed NX in the horseshoe sign ( NoNex ) - this is

          trademark for Corning's (manufacturer) heat resistant lantern globes were used

          by Adams & Westlake Co.
  • Note : C.& N.W.RY. was known as UP (Union Pacific) too and this type of the
          lantern was used on different places of these routes, from early days up to

          late 1970's.

        - this old lantern looks excellent for its age!
